Look beyond the interior and its terrible

Had the car for one week and regretting the decision. Look beyond the gentlemans smoking lounge interior and overall it has left me flat and with disapointment.

Pottering about town, the manual gearbox is in full use due to the lack of power delivered by the 1.5l engine, which was selected for fuel economy, its pretty skittish and dangerous round bends or if you hit a bump or pot hole.

Motorway driving is nothing short of horrific. The car wants to fight with you, floating from one side to the next which means that even in cruise control you are forever correcting the car. After a hours drive to work, my wrists and forearms ache from constantly battling with the steering, turning off the lane correction feature makes no difference.

Its a soul-less bath of wobbly jelly to drive with no grunt or feeling back through the steering wheel and is not a performance suv, nor a cruiser.

It has some nice features and lovely interior styling, but that is where the joy stops. Less than 24 hours after driving away from the dealer, its going back to have faults looked at and given that taking ownership of a new car, all be it used, should fill you with pride, joy and expectation, sadly taking the DS7 has left me flat, regret, anger and looking to swop out as soon as possible.

Look beyond the fancy lights and interiors, check the spec list carefully and then decide on another car!
