Update & Better than I imagined.

What a great car the new Sandero is. Been driving the new model for 3 weeks now and find that the car is easy to drive with well padded seats that are comfortable to sit in for long periods. Car comes with quality summer tyres and these hold the road well in dry conditions! When these wear out I will be buying all season tyres as live in a wet/extreme location and the car leans a little on fast bends. The media control that works the radio takes several weeks to get used too! but is worth the effort as car has a superb radio/ media player using a pen drive or any Bluetooth phone for which there is a cradle for. The speakers are superb and have a bass boost too though I have found this too loud for me! The car comes with one touch air con and is great. Have noticed that the car has trays that protect most of the underneath of the vehicle! A good safety feature however have used Lanoguard clear sealant in all hinges and engine bay as live at high altitude. (High humidity) However have examined underneath the vehicle and Dacia have done a great job of undersealing the car too. The car drives very well as only has 65 hp! So no Ferrari here! But average mpg is 51 on country roads! The gearbox is silky smooth as is the gentle clutch! Not been using the auto start stop as do not like this feature so have got into the habit of switching it off at the beginning of my journey. You can select auto door locking which I recommend and this locks all the doors immediately you move off and is a great safety feature. Ordered a spare tyre which I recommend you order with the car or buy one from a sc***yard which would be cheaper than the £250 Dacia now charges. Driving the new Sandero is a joy, and yes you need to drive it with gusto at times as only a basic 1 litre engine but with economy of over 50 mpg on a run it's worth it! For motoring on a budget the cheapest car in Europe is a great buy.
