Good little workhorse

We needed a car that we both could drive and would be suitable for transporting grandkids and for longer journeys for weekends away etc. The Dacia came with good reviews from the press and it was considerably cheaper than its rivals. It has done everything asked of it. It's easy to drive, quiet, comfortable , has reasonable performance on the open road and is pretty economical. Just returned from a trip to Cornwall (290 miles each way) and it was fine , no issues at all and 52mpg overall. It hasn't been 100% reliable, the battery failed at just under 1 year old, but that was quickly sorted by Dacia Assist and the battery was covered under the 3 year warranty, so no drama. All in all, a new car with a 3 year warranty for the price of a 3 year old supermini. No brainer, if you can get past the badge snobbery.
