Performance and looks in one great package

Moving from a 2 litre diesel into a 3 litre was always going to add a nice amount of output, having had a bad experience with a 3 series (320d) some time ago I wanted to give the BMW another opportunity. The 430d Gran Coupe ticked a lot of boxes; design, performance, features etc.

My last car was the Octavia VRS and I thoroughly enjoyed the 4 years and 130,000 miles it covered however moving from the Skoda into the BMW was incredibly different. The car 4 series has a great driver orientated layout, maybe a year or so behind Mercedes but the iDrive system is outstanding. The cockpit is extremely comfortable and has a great driving position.

I had the M Sport Plus package, Driver Comfort Package and Professional Media package - all of which are worthwhile.

Performance wise it's a beast. 0-60 in just over 5 seconds, and the torque is amazing. Smooth gear changes and the switching between comfort and sports is normally enough, even for those that like a good old 'hoon'. Sports Plus is a feature I've not tried yet as only just finished the running in mileage.

Lovely car, great looks, brilliant performance. Plus it's returning over 40mpg.
