BMW 4 Series (2013 - 2020)
440i 3.0 M Sport Auto LCI 2dr Coupe
Good so far
Have had car for only a few weeks so these are initial impressions only. Firstly, this was a (well priced I thought - £17k off list with options) pre-reg car which had obviously been standing around for some time having been registered around 3 months or so prior. Picked up car with "replace battery" warning which is being done tomorrow under warranty. Should obviously have been replaced prior to delivery. That niggle aside, I am enjoying the car - feels smaller and more nimble than the 640d M Sport coupe it replaces though I do miss the 640's torque. Am running it in so haven't thrashed it too much but engine eager to rev and sounds good from start up and when accelerating. My car well specced - standard equipment should be a bit better. Cabin feels a little cheaper than my old car and could do with updating - probably weakest point looks wise. Handling good - only weak point is lack of steering feel which not unusual these days. Too soon to say economy wise but high 30's mpg on a trip should be achievable form what I've seen so far which good given power.
