BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer (2015 - 2021)
220D Xdrive Msport
The only luxury brand MPV worth having...
Where else can you get a premium brand car with pretty much all the gadgets and extras for under 40k?
Without spending 60k plus and going for a premium SUV... X5, Discovery etc which is a different veichle completely!
The car performs well for its soze and the fact that it is a compact MPV, I’ve previously had a Ford Smax and New Nissan Xtrail... so am used to my 7 seaters, with three kids under 9 I should be!
I can get 50mpg on a steady motorway run, average is really 45... but it’s a BmW and it’s designed to be driven so I regularly stick it in sport mode and enjoy the Xdrive and paddle shift.
The Smax was a fun car to drive for its size but this beats it hands down...
I think a lot of the extras are worth getting, I had the Hd 10” premium screen and sat nav, the heads up display etc.
Being a compact MPV with 7 people in the car it is a squish and you wit. Be able to fit 3 car seats in the middle row.
However unless going for a 7 seat Tesla or a premium SUV like the Discovery, X5 or XC90 I’d choose this car again and again if it was a 7 seat family car I wanted.
