Great value as a used buy

I was dubious about getting the 116d as could not find any reviews for this latest generation with this engine. All I can say is that I am not disappointed. I have the auto which is smooth and seamless and very quiet. Car feels light and willing to rev and is more than enough for everyday driving, has plenty of pull. Pulling away from standstill is great fun and progresses quickly with the auto, I doubt I would ever go back to a manual now.
Ride is comfortable in M Sport and not firm/harsh at all. Corners better than my previous Mini. Interior a great place to be and feels premium. Rear leg room is plentiful and decent boot size. Looks so much better in person than in photos with a low/wide stance and swiping rear roofline. One of those cars that only looks best in certain colours/trim though. Misano blue the only colour for me, stands out.
Expensive as new, but can get a used/nearly new one with a big discount making it a better buy.
