The Ultimate Driving Machine, I Think Not !!!!

I took delivery of my 1 series from Berry BMW.
The valeting was poor with footprints on the rear mats and the interior door trims having polish on them.
First drive on the Friday was ok but finding reverse gear was a battle of wills between me and the car and I felt like the new car experience was let down by the poor condition of the car.
Sunday went on a long journey. Hot Clutch warning light came on whilst on the M1. Limped home late at night and called BMW service engineer the next day who said my car was dangerous to drive .Great I thought ,as my wife and children had been in the car with me. My car was taken to a local dealer where the clutch was replaced. As its a new engine, the Area Technical Manager from BMW came to see the car. I got my 1 series back after 3 days and went on a local journey where the clutch warning light came on telling me the clutch was hot. Now the car is back with Berry BMW. So far I have owned the car for 9 days, 5 of which it has been in for a repair
Come on BMW not a good advert for the ultimate driving machine
Now I feel I have lost my confidence in the 1Series and BMW
