Great car but very expensive

So I brought my F20 in 2020 just before lock down and overal I really liked the car it drove amazing it was very powerful and very economical it looked great and felt great very premium and was practical for the most part.

Downside I found is the car was really over priced to maintain. When I got the car it had a judder while accelerating turned out to be faulty transfer box which the dealer fixed under warranty costing nearly £5000 to the warranty company.

It was after this I learned BMW xdrive cars have to have tyres replaced in sets of 4 otherwise it upsets the xdrive and breaks the transfer box as per what happened to my car and the tyres need to be BMW star rated and to put 4 BMW star rated tyres on the car it would be not far off £2000 it was this revelation that made me decide to part with the car in the end.

Overall I rate the car 3 out of 5 stars it looks great drives great and feels great but is just such a money pit in xdrive form it’s the kinda car that will be sc***ped prematurely due to its running costs.
