A Real 'Q' Car!

Bought a year old Audi owned car, the standard SQ2.
Car looks smart in the metallic blue, you have to look twice before seeing it is a performance model, rather than boy racer looks.
Fairly austere inside, with a reasonable amount of standard kit, although I was surprised to find it didn't have an auto dipping rear mirror.
Rear boot cover seems flimsy as others have said.
Driving position is good, with all controls in easy reach, seats are firm but comfortable.
Driving is great, the engine pulls really quickly and in S mode the gearbox changes gear superbly, better than I could manage .manually!
Handling and road holding are equally good, with the ride being perfectly acceptable even on our local and rough rural roads. Have no idea what the limit of grip is in the dry and am sure I wouldn't want to corner that fast! The 4wd system works unobtrusively as you would expect.
The E setting in drive is great for when driving in traffic as it holds a higher gear and also has a coasting function which saves fuel.
Room in the rear seems ok and the boot is reasonable. The false boot floor is handy as emergency kit can all be stored under it.
Cons: the Continental Contact 6 tyres do not grip that well in wet or snow. Would have been nice to have electric seat adjustment at the price level. Didnt come with a spare, I bought a spacesaver as don't trust only having sealant.
Fuel economy is not great, around 30mpg in local driving.
Overall an excellent small performance car that is easy to drive in a leisurely fashion and great to drive enthusiastically with understated looks.
