Excellent when running but just had expensive DPF, EGR, Lamda parts replacement
My Audi A6 Allroad is perfect for towing my 1900kg caravan with adjustable suspension and 24/25 mpg when towing at 60mph.
However it is generally expensive to run and I have just experienced , at only 3 years old / 24000 mile, complete failure of DPF, EGR, Lamda sensor. The car went into "limp home" mode on a French motorway and the total lack of acceleration / torque made it dangerous to drive safely.
Audi UK / Bristol Audi have totally refused to offer any Customer Care Goodwill saying that they don't have to as the car is out of warranty - by just 24 days!!
Question: Does this mean I will be faced with £4000 bills every 3 years because of DPF failures??
