Overall reliability

One of the best value for money proposition on the used market.

Got this car a year ago with pretty much nothing else apart from the bigger infotainment. Wanted a barebone Audi experience, and throughout the whole year of owning it, it didn't feel for a second lackluster.

It's not the most driver oriented car, sure but my interest was mainly comfort with a sporty edge on B-roads and highways, and it did just that irreproachably. It's not a boring car thanks to the cheerful character of the diesel engine mated to the 6-speed S-tronic DSG(wet clutch; 1.6 diesels and other weaker engines come with a dry clutch DSG which perform significantly worse in real life conditions) all while feeling balanced, nimble and controlled rather than sporty. Get a pair of Michelins, give it good fuel and consumables and you'll be able o enjoy this car's true potential in most any conditions.

As far as issues go, the car shows an electronic-package related error once every couple of months, but shortly disappears after a few seconds, the dealer was not able to locate the problem but it's definitely not experience ruining, more of an occasional bug. Also, during the year of ownership the transmission got stuck in park ONCE, and it was easily fixable by turning the car off and on.

All in all a very enjoyable owning proposition, retroactively speaking. I'd buy it again but with cruise control and led headlights.
