Isuzu launches updated 2023 Isuzu D-Max pick-up

Isuzu UK will unveil the new-look Isuzu D-Max range at the Commercial Vehicle show this week, with prices starting at £20,999.

While there have been no technical changes to the revamped range, each trim level has received significant cosmetic updates.

The refreshed vehicles have undergone changes that include a new front grille and wheel designs, with every pick-up in the range now sporting the newly styled front grille.

The All-Purpose and Adventure models have also received the new wheels, while the Business range has kept its practical and durable steel wheels that are characteristic of the Isuzu D-Max Utility model.

The 2023 model features two new colours, with the Dolomite White replacing the Pearl White and Biarritz Blue replacing the Sapphire Blue. The Biarritz Blue metallic paint finish will be available for both Isuzu D-Max DL40 and V-Cross models, while the Dolomite White pearlescent will be exclusive to the range-topping V-Cross.

On the inside, there have been some modifications as well. The hard-wearing cloth interior of the Business range models has remained unchanged, while the seats of the Isuzu D-Max DL20 are now covered in a more premium woven fabric with a refreshed design.

Moving up the range, both the DL40 and V-Cross have been upgraded with newly designed leather upholstery, which uses horizontal layering to create a more spacious feel.

Moreover, a rear-differential lock option is now available on all manual 4x4 Utility models in the range. This feature was first made available for the 2022 Isuzu D-Max pick-ups and has been continued in the 2023 Isuzu D-Max.

The Isuzu D-Max has gained significant critical praise for its 4x4 expertise and is used widely in various industries, including farming, construction and off-road driving.

The new-look 2023 Isuzu D-Max aims to expand its reach by offering more stylish features and interior designs while maintaining its workhorse capabilities. The 2023 Isuzu D-Max range will be available in the UK from late April and prices will start at £20,999.

What single cab pick-ups are available new in the UK?

I'm looking for a new single cab pick up in the UK. Are there any available other than the Ford Ranger XL Regular Cab and the Toyota Hilux Active 2 door?
Single cab pick-ups are becoming increasingly rare. The majority of pick-ups in the UK are double cab, so they can be used as rugged family cars. However, Isuzu still offers a single cab version of the D-Max. The Nissan Navara is also available as King Cab, which is an extended version of the single cab with two small bench seats in the back.
