Audi announces TTS Limited Edition
To commemorate 500,000 sales of the Audi TT since its debut in 1998, Audi has launched a limited edition variant of the TTS, offered in both coupe and cabriolet forms. Benefitting from £5665 worth of extra equipment the TTS Limited Edition carries a premium of just £2815 over the standard TTS, meaning prices of £38,860 for the coupe and £42,320 for the Roadster. 120 will be delivered to UK customers.
Extra gear includes a new spoiler, 19-inch alloy wheels, Impulse grey leather upholstery, DVD-based satellite navigation, Bluetooth, cruise control, BOSE audio, automatic lights and wipers and an interior light package. There’s also a commemorative plaque numbering each car and unique paint – Nimbus Grey for the Coupe and Imola Yellow for the Roadster.
The drivetrain remains unchanged from the standard TTS, with a 272PS 2.0-litre engine producing 350Nm of torque. Either a six-speed manual or six-speed S Tronic automatic gearbox can be specified, the latter of which can propel the TTS Limited Edition from 0-62mph in 5.3 seconds and on 155mph. Emissions are 179g/km and combined cycle economy is 36.7mpg.
