Goodwood Festival of Speed: Highlights gallery
The Goodwood Festival of Speed returned for its annual celebration of global motorsport on 23- 26 June with a special homage to 100 years of BMW and the endless pursuit of power.
Formula One, touring cars and the pre-war racers were all in action on the world famous Goodwood Hill, with some of the sport's greatest names behind the wheel. Rally cars from the famous Group B era also rolled back the years on a purpose-built rally stage, while Renault celebrated 110 years of its history by showcasing a collection of classic endurance racers.

BMW sculpture dominates Goodwood skyline
The Festival of Speed weekend celebrated BMW's 100th birthday with a huge sculpture that towered above Goodwood house. The steel structure featured three sweeping forms, with the BMW 328 Mille Miglia Roadster, the Gordon Murray-designed Brabham- BT52 and the Le Mans-winning BMW V12 LMR featured at the end of each.
The 110th anniversary of Renault was also marked on track, with a collection of old and new racers. One of the more contemporary attractions was the Renault ZE15 (pictured). The electric single seater competes in the electric Formula E series and was driven at Goodwood by French racing driver Charles Pic.
