BMW 325 D 2007 - DPF removal and MoT - ssbmw325

Hi

Heard DPF removal is now an MoT failure, but only for cars 2008 onwards. Is this correct.

Looking to remove dpf in my 2007 bmw 32d

Thats the 64 thousand dollar question, i've asked here and elsewhere many times and no one has ever answered, cos no one knows where the goal posts will be at any point in the future.

Those who remove DPF's for a living will tell you there's no problem, well they would say that, try and get one of them to put a MOT pass guarantee in writing.

I've know of a few Mazda's that have passed their MOT's with thier DPF's gutted. They all had it done from s******* who do some sort of 'smoke correction' test.

Tempted myself TBH, It will be time for me to update my car in around a year so I'll see then
