Hello,

I recently posted about my car idling erratically. My engine management light had come on and the car had stalled once or twice due to the idling problem. I was informed that my MAF sensor had gone, so I replaced it.

The idling is now perfect, however, when approaching junctions and when braking, the accelerator revs as if I pushed on the throttle, 2 or 3 times, then it calms down as i come to a stop at the junction. Weird stuff.. any suggestions?

Ive checked the butterfly valve in the throttle body, its clean and runs smoothly. Maybe something the exhaust end? or the centre pipe maybe? Im sort of lost for answers now :[ Help..
