Hi. Searching Google for the refill capacity of my manual 6 speed I find 1.2, 1.3, 1.6 and 1.9 litres suggested., plus hints that the filler hole is too high resulting in 0.3 litres too much oil and a sluggish gearchange.Can anyone please shine some light on this?

Hi and thanks. MB direct settled on a refill of "a maximum of 1.2 litres". I emptied the old oil without spills (miraculously) and measured the old oil at 1.15litres so I guess that they are correct. (probably). The ground clearance and absence of correct tools made this a beast of a job. It would be nice to have a barn with a car lift.
