hi

this system uses the cable which is attached to lock mechanism,

at the end of the cable ;lock end, its a very basic plastic cross that fits into a cross shaped

slot in the lock.

its meant to be fixed but can detached if pulled,removed

insert key pushing it forward now turn the key slowly and you can feel when the key

meets resistance now its engaged,if you have help push down on front bonnet make

it easier for lock to open.

if you manage to open bonnet remove lock and cable very easy to do and

rubber cover at the end of cable you can normally realign plastic cross and tap it back into place with a rubber mallet
