Thanks for the quick response. Is there any way I can get the serial number without have to strip the dash board down as I have a ford fiesta 2004 triple dash and a lot of hassle to take out.

It has been suggested by some people that if you try pressing 2 and 6 at the same time to see if the serial number rolls across the display and on some it 1 and 6. However, I've never tried this myself so have absolutely no idea whether it would work or not.

Where did you get that other serial number you posted? You originally posted the incorrect number 3M20702. Could it be M320702? If so, the Radio Code will be 1311. Probably worth trying this code, anyway.

If it's really going to be too difficult to remove your radio from the car to view the serial number then your local Ford Main Dealer can probably get the code from the registration or VIN number. However, please don't expect it for free !

Your are sooooo! helpful. The one i sent originally i think was engine number. Pressing 2 and 6 worked so the serial number is M574879.
