Peugeot 106 - Brakes noise from pads - weaselworm

Hi I hope someone can help, there is a noise coming from the drivers side brakes, it is a clicking sound much like the sound of the card in a bicycle spoke!!

Either stone trapped between disk and brake shield or sticking pads. or sticking slides.

checked pads - front one is loose! thats what is clicking. top part of pad has a guide bottom doesn't - checked passenger side - same there - is this right - does anyone know?
