I seem to lving on here at the moment:

I noticed the Engine management light was on when I started a journey today. Stopped and checked a few obvious things everthing seemed ok.

Did about 20 miles no problems.

Quick check of the car:

Air filter - a bit dirty but cleaned it - nothing unusual for what I normally find when I regularly clean it out.

Vented diesel from filter - (there was a bit of water in the vented fuel but I'm sure this was in the fabric conditioner bottle that had just been washed out.......)

Over the last few months, I've had intermittent high revving at tickover - about 1k, may be slightly higher but this has come and gone about 3 times.....

Also, I re-fueled yesterday but had let the fuel level run down really low.....

When starting the light briefly goes out then comes back on immediately and stays on.

Is it safe to use until I get it sorted.

Suggestions: open to reasonble and clean ones.... lol
