make sure you use low ash oil !!!!! otherwise they do block up.
Having said that I just removed a blocked secondary one on a c220cdi and jet washed backwards and it worked fine. Everytime it was booted it used to go into limp mode with Overboost as the fault code. When I checked the live data there was a momentary overboost pressure reading in the inlet manifold caused by the blocked exhaust ! It had already had £1000 spent on a new turbo just couple of days earlier ! It had only done 26K from new
