Nissan Primera I2 - Rear brake squeal after new pads and discs - squibsquib

I recently got my rear disc and pads changed. Sometimes when Im turning a corne and apply the brake pedal slightly a loud kind of squeal comes from the rear. It can also get worse when driving for a while and when operating the brake when driving in a straight line. Any ideas what could be causing this?

The caliper maybe worn on the slides as the car shifts weight it catches the pad.

Also check wheel bearings, and advised to bed brakes in for the first 500mls after replacement so no heavy braking.

I got the pads and disc changed because I was told the caliper was seized and this caused the parking brake to fail in MOT. Do you think I should replace the slides on the rear calipers?

Did you get new calipers after they were seized as this comes with the slides?

Take it back to the garage get them to check all is ok.

No. He only said he unseized it but couldn't guarantee they would stay unseized. He didn't mention if it was the slides, piston or parking brake lever that was seized. I will take back to garage and ask for a check-over
