Had the check brake pad warning message come up on dash today.

and am wondering how easy a job is it to replace the front and rear pads?

Also the drivers side middle cv gaiter needs replacing. and was wondering whether the shaft is held in by a circlip or spring clip??. any advice would be much appreciated.
