For Fusion 2002 Diesel 1.4 TD - Car part numbers - Wicked Pink

Hi,

I live in Spain and car parts are horrendously expensive here. I am trying to buy an alternator for my car from Ebay and am told it is for a 2003 model and I need to know if it will fit my 2002 model Fusion.

The seller has come back with the part number - 2s6t-10300-cb 7oA - is there anywhere I can check online to find out if this part will be ok for my car?

is your car a UK model or is it Spanish? Chances are this part number is on the alternator itself and wont be a Ford part number. this would make it unlikely to match anything on yours. You would be best to visually match it noting things like mounting lug set up, pulley offset and diamter and ampage of the alternator. Guessing theirs is 70 amp based on that part number.
