FORD ESCORT 1990 1300CC - I have too keep topping up break fluid resovoir - Delysher

Any mechanics out there that live near Birmingham Airport that can do repairs on my ford escort.

Its an old car and I can't afford garage prices £45.00 per hour. I will pay a mechanic to do the work.

Can you suggest anyone or someone whom has reasonable prices.

I need the rear shoes changing, front pads and rear cylinders checked for leaks. Also my handbreak is no very good.

Wow. Not many of those Escorts about anymore. hope you can find a way to get it going mate. If all else fails you could probably do at least the first two jobs yourself with the help of a handy Haynes Ford Escort manual, the old fords were very easy to work on if you just take your time and concentrate.

I would agree, nice easy cars to work on. Follow the instructions in the manual and you will save yourself a fortune. You will probably find the parts cheaply on ebay.

you will probably find its the rear wheel cylinders leaking which are easy to change so as said why not give it a go yourself,you have to do better than the fast fit places around
