Peugeot 306 - car turns over but wont start - alan450ktm

ive a 97 306 1.9 diesel car turning over but wont start, checked selenoid it ok and electric gettin through, fuel in filter and no air detected flowing through to diesel pump, unscrewed fuel line on diesel pump side but no fuel gettin through, stopped yesterday towed it and it started drove 4 miles then stopped and wont start again, can anyone help me or tell me wat else to check . thanks

Do you mean your are getting no fuel fron the injector pipes? If so I would suggest that the fuel solonoid is sticking or the fuel filter is clogged up.

all these check out ok i am miffed to wat is wrong? car was running stopped and cant get it to go? any other ideas?

Well, if you are getting no fuel at the injectors but you have it at the pump input, either the pump is faulty, unlikely, or the fuel solonoid is not opening, how did you check it?

screwded fuel out of pump body continuosly probed for power with meter and plunger comes in and out when power applied when is off it retracts.

OK right, if you have fuel going into the pump body but non coming out out of the injectorsI can only conclude there is a problem with the pump, but its very unusual. Is that a mechanical pump with timing adjustment from an injector sensor?
