M 2000 3.2 CLK has lost the electrics for the boot release, soft top, alarm, central locking, etc. the pse pump was changed on a dealers say but it made no difference. The alarm was the first problem going off all the time but since the dealers had a go at diagnosis all the other problems cameup.

Check for a TSB dealing with water ingress to the control electronics. This may not apply to the CLK, but on the SLK of the same (crappy) build period, water was able to run down the loom and into the unit which is in the bottom of the boot.

The "fix" was to invert the unit. Engineering by experts...
