Ford Mondeo - Mondeo 2.2 TDCI MAF idle value and Idle speed - stbrown06

Hi all,

I have an 06 mondeo 2.2tdci which has slightly low MPG. Have looked at most things and im slightly suspicious of the MAF sensor. Does anyone know what the idle value should be. Reading between different sites, iv come to the conclusion it should be in the region of 7 g/s@800rpm. Sensor shows 2 g/s when engine is not running and 14 g/s @ 835rpm(idle). That brings me to the next problem, the engine idle should be 800 rpm, would a faulty MAF cause this to rise?
