Toyota Yaris 1.0L T3 2006/56 - Toyota Yaris brake calliper bolt size??? - Deke

I am trying to change my daughters front brake pads for her - an easy job I thought. I have done a few in my time but, the bolts on the callipers are not moving out when I try to undo them.

I have bought a new socket set and it feels like the 12 mm fits but, I can't see past the rubber boot that surrounds the bolt head.

The ratchet sounds like it is doing its' business but, may just have slight friction with the tightness of the rubber boot.

Can anyone confirm the bolt size for me or are these bolts something fancy?

Do you mean the two main retaining bolts under the rubber boot if so they are normally internal allen bolts.
