Ford Fiesta - Bearings failure after 3 months - dav3m
Hi - my car failed its MOT in May and had new brake drums and bearing replaced.
However on the way to work there was the loudest sound coming from underneath my car - so I took it to a gargage (different one). They said the wheel bearing was knackered and needed replacing.
It seems clear that the garage who originally fitted the wheel bearing did it incorrectly, as it shouldn't fail after 3 months.
I guess I should have taken it back to the garage that did the original fit, but to be honest I didn't know what was wrong with it and that the problem was related.
Does anyone think I'll have any success in complaining back to the original garage and trying to claim some of my money back?
