Convert CD's to MP3's - thewildrover

Having finally joined the digital age can anyone suggest or recommend some software for converting my CD's into MP3 tracks.

The software I have found seems to only be available bundled with lots of other stuff that I will never use.

Any idea's will be gratefully recieved.

If you have access to Windows Media Player you will not need any additional software. In Windows 7 open WM Player,left click Organise>options>rip music then" rip settings format," ,change default setting from WMA to MP3 >OK. You can then record your CDs on the computer`s hard disc and download (rip) to a blank CD , memory card,MP3 player or whatever in MP3 format. Windows XP is slightly different,but the basic procedure is the same.

Sorry,I meant Burn,not rip to blank CDs etc.
