Lexus LS400 - LPG garages on way to scotland - Pizza man

Hi,

I was hoping some backroomers might be able to help me, I am going on a trip up to scotland in the evening of the sunday the 29th August from the south of england and my car only has a 200 mile range while on LPG so i was hoping some people might be able to direct me to good garages motorway or local to route that are roughly 200 miels from each other and will be open on a sunday evening/night/monday morning.

Crooklands garage just off junc.36 of the M6 on the A65 heading for Endmoor has LPG facilities.

UK LPG sites are available within 100 miles of a post code

3/4 searches should give you a list to cover the ehole journey.

I have decided to stop at BP services at stone J14/15 M6, Gretna J3 M74 and The one on the junction of the A9 and A912 in perth. didn't mind who i used but BP's are all in th right places.

Used google street view to make sure they had LPG pumps, wish the prices where the current one's 53.9p lol.

I don't know if you pass near any Calor gas depot's on your route but the one near Barnsley sells autogas for 52p/litre.

the Shell petrol station in Livingston near to J3 M8 sells lpg dont know the price sorry,I posted before I looked at your map............sorry

hmmm bit late but.......

there great since i stopped doing 56mph to save fuel and have started doing 80mph my MPG on gas has gone up to 24mpg. at a lot less per litre then petrol i smile everytime i hear people moaning about fuel prices, it costs less to run then most nrmal family cars :D

um a large excecuitive car that costs more then most houses new?

a chaffer mobile/directors car.

a road going luxury yaht

160mph leather sofa.....

all things i've heard it referred to not often has anyone said a family car.

Couple of other sites on way up are M6 Junction 38 Tebay services the truck stop has LPG, Ullswater Road Garage Junction 40, and Junction 44 their is a calor gas site just off the motorway on Kingstown Industrial Estate.
