Hi,
I saw the ad in the telegraph for Top Marque Cars Ltd www.tmcarsales.co.uk/ offering mini cooper s for £14,000 which is cheap compared to Mini dealer. Does anyone know if this company is legitimate ad had experience buying from them?

The company will have had to have passed a limited credit check to get its ad into The Daily Telegraph.

Hi
They say finance is arrived through other companies and haven't given me an FSA number - they don't appear on the register.
Also, they have only been trading since 13th January accordng to companies house despite saying to me on the phone that they have been trading 5 years. They say they have changd their name.
Doesn't sound right to me so i will buy elsewhere!

Be careful with company names - Top Marque Cars Ltd are in liquidation, Top Marques Cars Ltd are alive and kicking, but their website contains very little information, just a premium rate phone number - no address, company details etc etc which it should have as a minimum, despite the claim that the website is being updated.
They may have only just become Ltd - Companies House records name changes but only Ltd to Ltd.

Enough warning bells to lead me to that course of action too.
