03 1.8 heating problems - tommyt
After driving about 10 miles my temperature guage goes into the red, if i put the heater on full the temp comes back down to 80 or 90 deg, the heater works fine, the electric fan cuts in at around 90 deg but the radiator remains cold as does the bottom hose, the top hose is hot.
I have drained and refilled the coolant but the problem still persists.
The car runs fine, no startin problems and no steam or hissing, i am a little worried that the radiator is stone cold though and as i said the bottom hose is also cold, any advice would be helpful.

Water pump impeller broken off or stuck thermostat.
