04 2.0 Heater fan problem - forddriver

Turn fan on full after 1 minute fan slows and grinds to a halt,smell burning smell.any ideas?

04 2.0 HEATER FAN PROBLEM - elekie&a/c doctor

I would suggest drop the fan motor out of the heater casing and check for any debris stuck in the fan blades and also make sure the motor rotates smoothly.Access to motor from passenger footwell,behind glovebox.May be an idea to check pollen/cabin filter for restricted air flow.hth
