Kia 2WD is FWD methinks.
Subaru 2WD are also FWD (meaning Imprezas that we don't import).

Kia Sorento (FR layout in 2WD model)
Subaru Sumo (this is an old thing that was popular with corner shops around these parts in the early 90s).

Indeedy - was thinking of the Kia Sportage.
The Subaru Sumo was usually 4wd in the UK, and anyways it went out of production about 10 yrs ago didn't it ?

Tata Nano, presumably, as it's rear-engined.
Are there any other rear-engined cars in production?
|
Tata Nano, i fancy a shot in one. I know it's not going to be "good" but, just curious really thats all.
£2-3k? something like that, for a simple, user serviceable car. I'd be tempted to spend the same again and kit it out with a *serious* in car computer system. Like ANPR, cameras all over, telemetry, GPS, audio / video, internet, touchscreen + buttons...
Rear engined rear wheel drive - seen a guy with a porsche (996) 911 in the snow / ice between xmas & NY. FR was tricky enough (without appropriate tyres) spare a thought for the RR layout drivers ;-)

VW camper-type van is still made in South America and imported in small numbers by Danbury campervan converters.

I think though when you talk about RWD you need to differentiated between the oppopsite end boxes such as Mercedes, BMW etc and those with the engine at the same end as the driven wheels such as Ultima, Lotus etc.
Entirely different animals as regards traction.
