Nitrous Oxide boost is a nice touch.
It's probably for the driver rather than the chair.
Nitrous oxide can kill in large doses, and has very variable effects in smaller ones. The demented cavorting and wild laughter it induced in the young Humphrey Davy among others don't always occur.
I had two impacted wisdom teeth extracted under it in the early sixties, at the Dental School in Leicester Square. It didn't make me laugh but when I came round I told the staff I had been having lovely dreams which I had already forgotten. I had a headache too.
Their replies were so sarcastic that I concluded I had perhaps been lashing out and screaming obscenities while they were gouging the tusks out with frightful gleaming corkscrews. But I didn't blame myself.
