96 1.6 Disable of daytime running lights? - Quicksilver
Hi does anybody know how to disable the daytime running lights on a 1996 440?

I understand it is a fuse removal job but which fuse?

I do not like the "feature" hence my desire to disable if reasonably easy.

Similar request made last week by owner of an old type C70. Feedback came from an American Volvo website pointing to a small recessed screw below the master light switch. Don't know if this is on your car or not, but worth a look.

Unfortunately I cannot find such a screw. I guess it has to be a fuse but which one?

I take it you don't have a handbook that lists the fuses?

Yes I have the manual, (Haynes) but there does not seem to be a fuse specifically listed for the daytime running lights.

I guess i will need to read some more!

Are you referring to side lights or Dim/DIP head lights. Regards Peter
