Hi, my comm2000 unit was playing up....i.e. lights coming on whenever they wanted, indicators working, then not, etc etc. so changed my unit for a secondhand one. Bear in mind that my car is the Dturbo with absolutely every damn extra you can think off. Anyway after changing comm2000 i got ESP fault. Changed back to my old unit and ESP fault had gone, so sent comm2000 unit back and asked for another one. Just fitted it today and guess what....get esp fault. Does this need calibrating? What sort of reader can this be done on? Is it a Peugeot dealer job?
Thanks
Gary

Cars with ESP need the steering angle sensor resetting when the COMS 2000 is replaced - might be possible with an aftermarket diag computer, but the pukka Pug one will do it easily - I doubt your local dealer will cut too many arms off to reset it!

thanks, i'll give 'em a call tomorrow.

please let us know how much to reset

I would think you have the wrong switch.Models with esp have the steering angle sensor built into the comms 2000 unit.hth

quote for calibration:
peugeot in scunny £62.50 + VAT (quoted 1 hour work)
peugeot castleford £31.25 + VAT (quoted 30 mins work)
local garage in scunny quoted £25 so i've booked it in there.
