I have had the Wheel Bearing with the ABS Sensor changed - TWICE- because

Getting really frustrated, plus I just haven't got the money to keep

get the speedo fixed.proberbly the sensor on the gearbox that will hopefully put the TC light off..Clear all codes then take for a run of about 50 miles see if the light comes on again...A abs sensor might not be the problem..it could be the abs ring on the driveshaft is full of dirt/rust the sensor cant read through the dirt..

Mega snipquote - no need to quote everything in your reply. A brief summary is more than enough!

Thanks to jayeast anglia for replying to original message but 99% sure its not speedo and it has had new drive shaft - 2 actually because first one was suspected faulty. Codes can't be cleared by reputable diagnostic specialist - says that computer will not communicate with ABS (2 separate tests done).

In a different thread (about the instument cluster on early Vectra Cs not working at all when cold) there is mention of a retrofit kit from Vx which includes a new ABS ECU connector IIRC, maybe this is a different syptom with the same root cause?

EDIT : this 'ere thread:-

On some cars, there's a known fault where the connections on the high speed CAN bus become waterlogged and corroded - the connector is under the passenger side scuttle panel.
