Anyone know approximately how much a front brake calliper to be done with a bit of brake pipe will cost.

I presume this is a vented disc and your not too clear which brake pipe?

Approx caliper £90.00 + brake pipe just depends on length and time taken but thats were garages make there money.

You could save a lot of money fitting the caliper yourself with help of a haynes manual and take your time.

Thirteen year old car ! Get one from your local scrapyard It'll be about £10. Easy job to remove and if your not too sure pay the Garage to fit it.My local Garage always ring up and ask if its OK to use, used parts, to keep the price down. Oh,brake pipe-couple of pounds Max. Good Luck.

Also ask your local motor factor for the price of an exchange unit. You might be pleasantly surprised.
The one I bought for SWMBO's old mkIV Fiesta came boxed, with a year's warranty and cost less than £30 once I'd returned the old caliper. Visually it looked like a brand new unit.
