01 2.0 HDi starts then stops. - OssHead
Hi Hope some one can help me !
Have a 206 2.0 HDi 51 plate !
AA Recovered yesterday just died on me !
starts perfect runs for about 20 seconds and stops ! Changed fuel filter, inline fuel presure sensor and another sensor on the fuel line ! also changed the Air Flow Meter ! Will start when left for 30 mins or so ! Have checked the fuel pump in the tank and thats ok ! any ideas ? Please Please help !

Once the fuel pressure drops the car will start and run for about 20 secs or less !
If it the Fuel Pump or the Fuel Pressure solenoid on the injector rail ?
HELP HELP HELP !

yes Engine management light is on and the display reads Anti-Pollution Fault !
starts straight away and runs and revs ok then stops after 20 secs !

should try totaly replacing the lift pump in the tank,you can never realy tell if ther faulty worked for me,or take it to a rolling road tuning garage i took mine sorted it for arouund 70 quid,pug garages suck ther dont have much of a clue appart from charge u a fortune for nothingngood luck pal.dont have to be a sports car to go on the rolling road tuning garages.

Maybe you've changed that sensor in the photo already.

Also, not sure why you're getting 'Anti PollutionFault' on a '01 206, I didn't think it would have that type of equipment.
