03 E200 Changing Headlamp Bulb - Merc E class - desmrics
I've tried to release the assembly to the rear of the headlamp to allow me to change a bulb. Its a little awkward but I fairly sure I am trying to release the correct circular 'holder' - but it won't budge. Any suggestions?

Yes - its part number 110 that I'm trying to release. Not sure which way to turn it though. You would expect anticlockwise but is this when viewed from drivers seat or when standing at the front bumber with the bonnett up?

If the removal is anticlockwise- it will not make any difference where you stand. Imagine that you are looking the removable part face on- then turn anti clockwise.

Will try this from "face on" ie fromstanding in engine bay. Surely though it does make a difference where ou stand when trying to turn anti clockwise? Its not the same direction ( omaybe I'm mistaken)
