Creaking Dash and Noisy back bench seats - suresh64
Hi, Has anyone had any problems with a creaking dashboard and a noisy back bench seats? my car is a 2006 2.2 direct design model
I complained to Vauxhall dealers and acknowledge the fault but they say it is not covered under the 2nd and 3rd year warrenty. They will investigate the noises but charge for the job (estimating around £150.00) plus parts if required. i don't know where to go with this any ideas please?

Exactly the same with our 2006 2.2.

After getting the same response back from the dealers you had, I decided just to live with it.

With mini-oilburner in the back singing, shouting and asking if we're nearly there yet, I don't often notice all the creaking and rattling anyway!

thanks for info but need to know where do i stand with dealers? are they just fobbing me off or do i acually don't have a leg to stand on?

I believe the interior is only covered in the first 1-2 years of warranty, so you're out of luck unless you ask them very nicely!
