Hi everyone, {no 'txt' talk please}
Just been driving back from Brighton to Cardiff, and a warning message popped up saying 'ANTIPOLLUTION FAULT', and it now comes on everytime i start it, and stays on.
Ive got a petrol 206 gti (138), Car seems to be running fine, although its a tad rough, but its been like that since i bought it.
I was reading Nathan206's post www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/index.htm?t=67310 but I'm assuming its not the same problem in regards to the diesel additive?
Cheers
Tob

Tacking a petrol engine on to a diesel thread will just cause chaos.
Start your own thread and we'll take it from there.

Ta da! There you go. If the OP can tell us the year of his car I can edit it into the subject header - DD.

"A/P Fault" is just a generic warning that there's a fault-code stored in the engine ECU.
The favourite on those is a cat-efficiency code P0420 - but you'll have to get any garage to read the codes to have any idea how to proceed.
[If it is P0420; only fit an genuine cat - the pattern ones won't work.]
