it's almost certainly an import. It looks like an Encore model, but they didn't come with the excellent 1.25 engine that is in this example IIRC.

Well, going to have a look at a 1.25 Si from 1996 tomorrow.
FSH up to 68K, done 89K, 5 owners, tax gonna run out end of month, had it about 3 years. New exhaust. Sony mp3/cd/radio. Recent new shocks. £700
Gonna aim to get 6 months tax on it and pay around 550ish depending on what it's like and how flexible he is.
