hiya im having trouble replacing my front brake pads, im trying to take off the two 19mm bolts at the back of the calliper and they arnt moving one bit even after hamming it. am i doing this right ive been foing it clockwise becasue the bolts facing the other way. thanks

Are these 19mm bolts what hold the caliper to the stub axle?

Im unsure with 306 it's been 10 yrs since we had one but i remember there been no problem to change, pads & discs.

turning clockwise as you look into the wheel arch is the right way there a standard thread. you'll need a decent breaker bar and some plus gas to shift them though, they do get well seized in but ive never seen one that can't be loosened with a breaker bar and decent 6 sided socket

Sounds like you are trying to remove the carrier from the hub; not the caliper fist from the carrier!

There should be 2 bolts you need to undo at the top and bottom of the carrier (near the top edge of the inner pad).
