2006 2.2 bad sat nav routing, is this a bug? - Corporal_Jones

Hi Guys

A couple of days ago I brought a 2006 (06 plate) Honda Accord 2.2 Ex with Sat Nav and HFT, now I love the car however compared with my over a year old Tomtom the routing is very poor, just yesterday I drove from Harrow to Watford, with tomtoms route it usually takes me 35mins, with my satnav it took me through the Watford ring road and then the Watford Town centre and then finally to my destination, it took more then twice as long, another example with my tomtom Chelmsford to Luton followed the route you would expect, M25 then the M1, with the Accord it took me on the A1 etc, result was more miles and a longer journey time.

So the question is, is this a known bug on the 06 models or can I get an upgraded DVD which has better software and/or maps?, I do a lot of driving and am reliant on sat nav but at the moment its just causing me delays.
